- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth, then add almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well until creamy.
- In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to distribute evenly.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- If using mix-ins, fold them into the batter now.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
