Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and fit it into the bottom of the greased baking dish, sealing seams.
  3. Combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl, and beat until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
  5. Roll out the second can of crescent roll dough, layer over the cream cheese filling, and seal the seams.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top layer of dough and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 20 minutes, cut into squares, and serve warm.
