Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle olive oil and add the ground beef. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Transfer the beef and onion mixture to the baking dish, layer thinly sliced potatoes over, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan over the potatoes. Pour beef broth around the edges.
  6. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
