Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Crazy Good Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions for 6-8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the cooked noodles, shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the bacon into the creamy mixture.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and bacon on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
