Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook until al dente—about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process. Allow it to cool in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella balls. Toss gently to mix.
  4. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl with the tomatoes and mozzarella. Fold in the sliced fresh basil.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Drizzle the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to coat evenly.
  7. Allow the salad to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
