Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  2. In your crock pot, combine cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  3. Place the seared chicken into the sauce mixture and make sure it's well-coated.
  4. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crock pot and mix with the sauce.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until incorporated, and garnish with cheddar cheese and parsley if desired.
