- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the filling mixture. Mix well.
- Lay a tortilla flat and spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the filling onto the lower third. Roll tightly and set seam-side down.
- In a skillet, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (350°F to 375°F).
- Fry a few taquitos seam-side down for 2–3 minutes until golden, then flip and fry for another 2–3 minutes.
- Remove taquitos and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
