For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean chili paste) Use Sriracha for milder warmth.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Opt for tamari if gluten-free.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (or maple syrup) Agave syrup makes a great vegan alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil Optional for a lighter taste.
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds Optional but highly recommended.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Stir well until blended.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cauliflower florets and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the coated cauliflower on a lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds atop the roasted cauliflower before serving.
