  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Used for cooking the chicken.
For the Wrap
  • 4 large Flour Tortillas or Wraps Substitution: Whole wheat or gluten-free wraps for dietary needs.
  • optional Mayonnaise Adds a creamy richness.
For the Fresh Fillings
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce Low-sodium options are great for a lighter meal.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Carrots
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Red Cabbage
  • 1 cup Chopped Romaine Lettuce

Equipment

  • Nonstick skillet
  • Microwave
  • Cutting board

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. In a nonstick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Season the boneless skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  2. Thinly slice the rested chicken breasts into strips and place them in a bowl. Pour your chosen teriyaki sauce over the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  3. While the chicken marinates, shred carrots and red cabbage, and chop romaine lettuce. Warm tortillas in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
  4. Lay a warmed tortilla flat, optionally spread mayonnaise, then layer the teriyaki chicken strips, carrots, red cabbage, and lettuce in the center. Fold the sides and roll tightly.
  5. Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
