Preparation Steps
- Heat 4 cups of filtered water in a kettle until just about to boil. Add the green tea bags and thinly sliced apple. Steep for 2-3 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
- While the tea is warm, stir in honey to taste until completely dissolved. Let the apple infuse the tea as it cools.
- Once cooled to room temperature, transfer the tea to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled apple-infused green tea over the ice, filling nearly to the top.
- Garnish each glass with a fresh apple slice and a sprig of mint or basil and serve immediately.
