Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then blend in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredient mixture to wet ingredients on low speed until just mixed.
  5. If sticky, chill dough covered in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
