  • 1 tsp Pepper Freshly cracked black pepper

  • 2 tbsp Oil Canola or grapeseed oil recommended
  • 2 tbsp Butter Essential for basting
For Finishing
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Parsley Chopped fresh parsley

Cooking Instructions
  1. Pat each scallop dry with a paper towel and generously season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat a heavy skillet over high heat for about 2-3 minutes until shimmering.
  3. Add scallops in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 1-2 minutes until golden crust forms on one side.
  4. Flip the scallops, add butter, tilt the pan, and baste with the butter for about 30 seconds.
  5. Transfer the scallops to a plate and let them rest for about 1 minute.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the scallops and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
