Preparation Steps
  1. Select fresh corn on the cob, choosing vibrant green husks and glossy silk. Decide to grill with husks on or off.
  2. For husks on: Preheat grill to medium (around 350°F) and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes.
  3. For husks off: Husk corn completely. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then grill on high (400°F) for 8-10 minutes, turning frequently.
  4. Remove corn from grill carefully using tongs and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
  5. While warm, slather corn with butter and sprinkle with salt. Add toppings like cotija cheese and chili powder as desired.
  6. Serve immediately while still warm to enjoy at its best.
