Preparation Steps
- Select fresh corn on the cob, choosing vibrant green husks and glossy silk. Decide to grill with husks on or off.
- For husks on: Preheat grill to medium (around 350°F) and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes.
- For husks off: Husk corn completely. Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then grill on high (400°F) for 8-10 minutes, turning frequently.
- Remove corn from grill carefully using tongs and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
- While warm, slather corn with butter and sprinkle with salt. Add toppings like cotija cheese and chili powder as desired.
- Serve immediately while still warm to enjoy at its best.
