Step‑By‑Step Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, leaving enough overhang to create a sealed packet later.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, paprika, red pepper flakes, cayenne, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Place the salmon fillet on the foil-lined baking sheet. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon and season with additional salt and pepper.
- Fold the edges of the aluminum foil over the salmon to seal tightly.
- Bake the foil packet in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the foil packet from the oven and open carefully. Set the oven to broil and return the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oven, transfer the salmon to a serving plate, and garnish with fresh cilantro and lemon slices.

Notes
Choose wild-caught salmon for better flavor. Ensure the foil is sealed tightly to maintain moisture. Stay close while broiling to avoid burning.
