Method
 

Steps
  1. Toast three slices of bread until golden brown and crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, cook four slices of bacon over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until crispy.
  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise on one toasted slice, layer with turkey and 2 slices of bacon.
  4. Add a cup of lettuce and 2 slices of tomato, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Top with another slice of toasted bread; repeat layering if desired.
  6. Cap with the final slice of toasted bread; add cheese if desired.
  7. Insert toothpicks into each quarter to secure layers while slicing.
  8. Diagonally cut the sandwich into quarters and serve immediately.
