Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt 90g of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Crush 1-2 garlic cloves and chop 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley. Combine with melted butter, salt, and stir well.
  4. Score the sourdough loaf diagonally to create a diamond pattern without cutting all the way through.
  5. Spread the garlic butter mixture between the cuts of the scored bread and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese into each cut.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for about 15 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the bread, sprinkle remaining cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  8. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
