- Mash ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until mostly smooth, leaving a few small lumps.
- Combine melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract with the mashed bananas.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt gently to combine.
- Fold in three-quarters of the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the reserved chocolate chips on top and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
