  • 8 oz Flower Shaped Pasta or rotini/farfalle as substitutes
For the Sauce
  • ½ cup Butter can be substituted with olive oil for a vegan option
  • 1-2 Lemons (Juice) or lime juice for a twist
  • ¾ cup Parmigiano Reggiano (grated) Pecorino Romano can be used as a substitute
For the Flavor
  • 1 tbsp Pink Peppercorn black pepper can be used as a substitute
  • 2 tbsp Italian Parsley (finely chopped) can substitute with basil or chives
For Adjusting Consistency
  • 1 cup Pasta Water or vegetable broth for alternative

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook flower-shaped pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta, then drain in a colander.
  3. In a large skillet, melt ½ cup of butter over medium heat until golden brown and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the butter.
  5. Mix in ¼ cup of reserved pasta water and the juice of 1 lemon, stirring until creamy.
  6. Remove from heat, add Parmigiano Reggiano, pink peppercorn, and parsley, tossing to combine.
  7. Plate and garnish with extra cheese and pink peppercorns. Serve with salad or bread.
