Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the overripe bananas in a bowl until smooth. Stir in milk, syrup, and vegan butter.
  3. Add baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla extract; then sift in flours and mix to form a thick batter.
  4. Fold in the blueberries gently without breaking them apart.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. If frosting, mix vegan cream cheese, melted butter, and powdered sugar until smooth, then spread on the cooled loaf.
