Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Glazed Ham Loaf
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil. Lightly spray the foil with cooking spray.
  2. Using a food processor, finely chop your leftover ham until it resembles loose ground meat, which will take about 15 seconds.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped ham, ground pork, seasoned panko breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly.
  4. Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking sheet and shape it into a loaf approximately 8x4 inches.
  5. Place the shaped ham loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. While the ham loaf is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing together dark brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
  7. After the initial 30 minutes of baking, carefully remove the ham loaf from the oven. Brush half of the glaze generously over the top.
  8. Once the additional baking is complete, brush the remaining glaze over the loaf and bake for another 10 to 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  9. After achieving the perfect temperature, remove the ham loaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
