- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add cubed beef, salt, and pepper, cooking until all sides are browned.
- Stir in dried oregano and basil, followed by diced tomatoes and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add orzo pasta to the pot and stir well. Cover and cook for another 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat, let sit for a few minutes, and serve warm.
