Step-by-Step Instructions for The Best Steak Marinade
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together ½ cup of soy sauce, ¼ cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 diced red onion, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 chopped green onions, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme, 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
  2. Place your selected steaks in a baking dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring each piece is coated completely. Seal the bag tightly or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Once marination is complete, remove the steaks from the marinade and let excess liquid drip off. Gently pat the surface dry with paper towels.
  4. Preheat your grill or pan to medium-high heat, about 400°F to 450°F. Cook steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  5. After cooking, tent your steaks with foil and let them rest for about 10 minutes.
  6. Once rested, slice the steak against the grain for maximum tenderness.
