For the Beef Marinade
  • 1 pound beef sirloin sliced thinly
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger minced
  • 1 scallion green onions chopped
  • 1 pear Korean pear or apple, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For Serving
  • 2 cups cooked rice white or brown
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Marinade the Beef
