  • 2 cups Cooked Grains (e.g., quinoa, rice) Farro or bulgur can also be used.
  • 2 cups Fresh Vegetables e.g., cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion.
  • 1/2 cup Olives (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese (optional) Can be omitted for dairy-free.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended. Coat the sirloin steak in the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and fresh dill in a separate bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak and sear it for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Assemble the bowl with a base of cooked grains, sliced steak, fresh vegetables, olives, and feta cheese. Drizzle with tzatziki and serve.
