  • 1/4 cup Water Helps adjust sauce consistency.
Finishing Touches
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Can be omitted if desired.

  • 4 cups Cooked Rice or Noodles Quinoa or cauliflower rice can work.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 diced onion to the hot oil, sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Incorporate 1 pound of ground beef and 3 cloves of minced garlic, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Toss in 1-2 sliced bell peppers and 1 cup of broccoli florets; cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Whisk together 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon of cornstarch, and 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables, simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
  7. Finish with sesame oil, serve hot over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with green onions.
