Step-by-Step Instructions for Sour Apple Collagen Gummies
  1. In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup of apple juice and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Add in 3 tablespoons of granulated monk fruit sweetener and 4 tablespoons of grass-fed gelatin. Place the saucepan over low heat, whisking continuously for about 2 minutes.
  2. Once the mixture is fully dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat. Add a few drops of green food coloring and stir gently.
  3. Carefully transfer the gummy mixture into silicone molds, filling each mold to the top. Tap gently on the countertop to remove any bubbles. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  4. After the gummies have set, remove them from the refrigerator and gently pop them out of the mold.
  5. For the sour coating, combine 2 tablespoons of monk fruit sweetener with 1 teaspoon of citric acid. Roll the gummies in the mixture just before serving.
