Step-by-Step Instructions

  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles in salted water for 7-9 minutes; drain and set aside.
  6. Combine sour cream and cottage cheese in a bowl, then fold in the drained noodles.
  7. Layer half of the creamy noodle mixture, followed by half of the meat sauce in the baking dish.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining meat sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for 30 minutes.
