Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Thaw the berries completely and collect their juices in a bowl using a strainer.
  2. Combine 2 cups of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a pot, heating until it boils for about 2 minutes.
  3. After cooling, mix in 1 cup of lemon juice and the lemon zest into the syrup.
  4. Blend 1 cup of the cooled lemon syrup with the thawed berries until smooth; strain if necessary.
  5. Combine the strained berry juice with the remaining lemon syrup and 3 cups of water.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for about 4 hours before serving.
